Legal marriage on Koh Samui, Thailand

To legally register your marriage in Thailand, you must prepare all the required documents independently in Bangkok. You can obtain information about the necessary documents and procedures from your country’s Embassy or Consulate in Bangkok.

All documents must be submitted on Koh Samui at least 3 working days before the wedding ceremony.

You can either bring the documents with you and hand them directly to our manager or send them to our address by post.

We will submit your documents to the Koh Samui District Office (Amphur), arrange for a government official to attend your wedding ceremony and officially register your marriage at the ceremony venue. We will also arrange the required witnesses.
